A cheerful little tribute to 1950s pop art, with a rather unpleasant twist. The friendly smile, the cigarette and the familiar comic-book aesthetic are all there. Unfortunately, so is something that probably shouldn't be happening to his eye.
Originally created in 2019, Kornjvkurgen was a ridiculous idea that demanded to be drawn. The halftone patterns, overlapping colours and imperfect registration of risograph printing turned out to be a perfect fit for its vintage comic-book appearance.
Printed in black, blue and red.
Created in 2019.
First edition of 23.
Signed and numbered.
