F24Q is a small tribute to the old Westerdals School of Communication in Oslo, where I spent three of the most formative years of my life. I lived about twenty steps away, so the neighbourhood became a world of its own, where work, friendships, late nights and creative discoveries all blended together.
Created in 2017, this was my first attempt at a simplified, almost architectural illustration. Rather than reproducing the building accurately, I drew it from memory. The red sun is a quiet nod to an important mentor and his love of Japan.
It was also one of my first experiments with overlapping red and green risograph inks. A little exploration of colour, architecture and the places that shape us.
Printed in red, green and black on Munken Print 300 gsm.
